Former Regional Director for Central and North America and the Caribbean, IOM
Michele Klein is a global expert on migration policy and refugee protection with 25 years of leadership at the International Organization for Migration (IOM). She led IOM’s work in the Americas, spearheaded the Global Compact for Migration, and served as the agency’s representative to the UN. She also has experience as a principal migration lawyer for the U.S. State Department.
