Judit Ilona Gaspar

Judit Ilona Gaspar is a second-year Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to coming to HKS, she worked on issues of international security, intelligence, and counterterrorism at the Embassy of France in Hungary. She was awarded the Honour Medal for Courage and Devotion (Médaille d’honneur pour acte de courage et de dévouement) of the French Government in 2023 for her work done on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border in March 2022. She also has previous work experience in diplomacy, communication, and interpreting. She holds a BA in French and Chinese studies from Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, and a postgraduate degree in conference interpreting from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
