Dita Charanzová

Vice-President and Member of the European Parliament, Renew Europe political group

Dita Charanzová has been a Czech Member of the European Parliament since 2014 for the ANO 2011 party, part of the Renew political group. Following her re-election in 2019, she became Vice-President of the European Parliament. Dita Charanzová is the Vice-Chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and a substitute member of the Committee for International Trade. She is also a member of the delegations working closely with the United States and Mercosur countries. She previously worked for the Czech diplomatic service, including as Head of Unit at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU. She also worked as a manager of the Council of Europe’s TV studio, and since 2015, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Aspen Institute.
