Alberto Candellero

President and CEO, Dolce & Gabbana for the Americas and South Africa

Alberto Candellero has over 20 years of experience within the luxury industry, covering many managerial and commercial roles. Prior to his current role at Dolce & Gabbana, he served as Chief Commercial & Sustainability Officer at Etro. Before that, among others, Candellero worked for 10 years at Dolce & Gabbana, overseeing commercial development in Latin America and South Africa, and for Ermenegildo Zegna, where he notably took charge of the label’s expansion in South America. Candellero holds a law degree from the University of Genova, Italy; a master in marketing from the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain; and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
